-Provides an effective tool to document curriculum as it is taught
-Allows the documentation to be fluid and evolving.
-Helps to vertically integrate curricular goals, while promoting horizontal ideas
-Helps to integrate multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary goals
-Effective way to track progress in the School Improvement Plan
-Can act as a seed for promoting creative discussion about the curriculum
-Should set the ground for invaluable face-to-face interaction amongst teachers
-To be effective, it requires a significant amount of data input and common terminology
-In particular, we will be looking at common terminology, such as "data analysis" and "greening," within the science department
